I’ve been getting tech-y with it this month with the release of the brand new iPhone application DUB SELECTOR, available now at the iTunes store! Juno nominated Reggae Artist DUBMATIX and I teamed up to create this new app, that lets you build and create your own versions of Dubmatix’s songs by interacting with my artwork. Seeing my art animated into video game format was an amazing experience and hopefully not the last. To sample the lite version for free or buy the full version click here:

Reunion Island Coffee hosted the art fundraiser ONE LESS PAPER CUP at Unit cafe/bar in Toronto last month in which fifteen contemporary Canadian artists volunteered to donate their talents toward converting white ceramic cups into pieces of art. All proceeds from the fundraiser went to Grounds for Health – an organization that operates in the coffee growing communities of developing countries to give women with cervical cancer education, screenings and treatment. I was fortunate enough to be picked as one of their artists and gladly got right to work on the black and white mug and case in the photo above. The event was a huge success and managed to raise over $3000 for Grounds for Health. Thanks to Adam Pesce for producing and curating the event! Check Justis’ of DoRight Records first video  Try’n to Live, directed by Photographer/ Music video director Sammy Rawal of Revolver Films. Both Justis and Sammy are major Canadian talents and I’m lucky to consider both good friends.Sammy was looking for a Keith Haring/ 80’s hip hop vibe for the video and ask me to be illustrator .  I happily obliged. Sammy is also one half of our creative team TOP CINQ. So keep eyes and ears open for future collaborations.

Attention Canada Element fans! Element Eden Advocate Juliana Neufeld is participating in the “Far Out Side” group show at the Board of Directors gallery in Toronto. The show runs from November 12-22, and make sure you join all the artists on opening night on November 13 from 7-10 pm.
