Element and Greg Noll event

The Gallery

Element has partnered up with Greg Noll in the creation of the Travel Well Greg Noll Collection of skateboards, modeled after some of the revolutionary surfboard shapes Greg has created through surfing over nearly 5 decades.

What better way to celebrate the launching of such a prestigious collection than through a party?  The event was held Tuesday night at Jed Noll’s surf gallery in San Clemente, where hundreds of people gathered for poster signings, pictures, drinks, amazing music by iconic skateboarder Ray Barbee. The massive crowd was captivated by the limited edition run of 200 skateboards hand signed by Greg and Jed Noll.

Each board has unique character from the variety of wood (such as purple heart, Tiger Rosewood or mahogany) it was carved from-some coming in deep reds while others showcasing their zebra stripe grain of pearly creams and burnt browns.

While the Travel Well Collection as a whole will stick around, these limited edition boards can only be found at Jed’s gallery for now.  Enjoy some of the snapshots from the night and get a chance to head down to the gallery and take a look at these boards for yourself.

Last Saturday the city of San Clemente was out on the town for its annual “Puttin’ on the Glitz” event. TOMS and Element Eden teamed up with Hobie Surf Shop to give happy shoppers an opportunity to get their TOMS customized by local artists. And everyone who played the Element Eden Spinny Wheel walked away a winner! Stay tuned for our next event in a city near you…

Post-Party Chino Hills

Last night the Element crew rolled up to the Beachworks in Chino Hills for a special shopping event. With Eden girl stylists, photo wall, DJ, and prize wheel in tow, we were ready for some serious shopping! Element Advocates Brooke Reidt and Mike Kershnar (with pretty pooch Lavender!) created live art in the store window, and Eden designer Filipa DaSilva helped Beachworks shoppers put together head-to-toe Element outfits with this season’s hottest trends. Team riders Chad Tim Tim and Levi Brown were also on hand to sign autographs and take photos.

Check out our Flickr page for full event coverage and to download your picture in front of our logo wall!

Big thanks to everyone at Beachworks for all their help in making last night a huge success! We had so much fun, and hope to see you all again soon!
