Every year, my friend and I make a pilgrimage to the Los Angeles Flower Market for Mother’s Day… but oh what I wouldn’t give to trek out to THIS flower market in Barcelona! I’m pretty sure that whatever money we’d save by buying flowers wholesale would be offset by the trans-Atlantic plane ticket. Oh yeah, and the Euro.

There’s going to be an awesome art opening at New Image Art in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 28th! Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Claire Rojas, and ‘Lydia Fong’ (wink, wink)!!!! There’s also going to be a musical performance by Peggy Honeywell and a comedy act by Andrew Jeffrey Wright. This event is going to get crowded so do like I do and get there early!
I am soooo glad it’s Friday! Tonight I’m going to ride my bike to the ICY LYTES VIDEO PREMIERE AND FUN’RAISER in Los Angeles. These guys are one of my favorite new groups and they put on an amazing live performance. The video above is the ‘teaser’ trailer for their new music video. Come out and party with us!
We’ve partnered with Foam magazine for an Element design contest, designing a reusable tote bag. Did you know that hundreds of thousands of sea turtles, whales and other marine mammals die every year from eating discarded plastic bags mistaken for food? Or that the production of ONE paper bag consumes 1 gallon of water? Reusable bags can hold twice as many items as conventional plastic carrier bags and can be used over and over.
