Ladyhawke’s new album – Anxiety – Launch Party!!
Our Advocate Sarah Larnach recently attended the launch party exhibition for the new Ladyhawke album – Anxiety, which was held in The Old Truman Brewery in London. Sarah Larnach created all of the artwork for Ladyhawkes new album, including artwork for Ladyhawkes new single, ‘ Black White and Blue’.
Thanks to the bunch of awesome folk that helped Sarah get over to London by purchasing bargain artwork from her ‘ crowd funding’ account she set up with Pozible! Sarah Larnach reached her dollar goal in just under 26 hours which helped pay for her flight over!
We enjoyed looking at the photos which Sarah sent over to us, It looked like an incredible evening!

Craft for Cats – Animal Welfare League
AWLQ’s animal welfare work is almost solely funded by the community through donations. With one single cat or dog costing an average of $500 to put through the rehoming process, and approximately 300 dogs and cats being rehomed each month, AWLQ could simply not do this work without the generosity and support of the public.
Craft 4 Cats is an exciting community project that will raise money specifically for their cat and kitten rehoming program and allow all cat-lovers and animal-welfare advocates to get involved and help spread the word about shelter cats in need.
There are two ways to get involved in the project;
1) Make a Cat Softie
2) ‘Adopt’ a Cat Softie
If you choose to make a Softie, you can download a pattern by visiting the AWL website HERE or you can make one free hand.
Whichever way you choose, make sure you check out the examples on the AWL website as they have provided a ‘ tips’ section. This is to ensure that all the softies made are of consistent size, style and quality.
Remember – you don’t need to be a professional sewer or crafter to make a Cat Softie! You can be a total amateur and still create something lovely to contribute to the project! What’s important is that you put your love into it
If you choose not to make a Softie, then you can still get involved in Craft 4 Cats! All you need to do is ‘adopt’ of their handmade Softies for a small donation. All Softies will be available to adopt for a donation of either $10 or $20 (depending on the size and the detail of the creation). AWL will be posting photos of the Softies up on their website , so there will be plenty of opportunity to ‘adopt’ a Cat Softie that’s just right for you!
Everafter….
Sone from Polli Blog posted these adorable photos of herself wearing our Everafter Dress, and our Folktales handbag from our Winter 12 Collection. The crochet peter pan collar on the dress is so sweet, it is one of our favourites!

Help Advocate Sarah Larnach and her artwork get to London!!!
Our incredibly talented Advocate and friend, Sarah Larnach needs your help!
Sarah Larnach is urgently busting-a-gut to fund travel to London to get herself and her paintings over there, so she can exhibit at the launch of the new Ladyhawke album, Anxiety, which she has done all the album art for!
Sarah has set up a crowd funder account through Pozible, where you can pledge money for creative projects and ideas!
Sarah is not politely asking for something for nothing- Whats really being asked here is that with your pledge, you purchase artwork from Sarah Larnach, and at really good value, so that she go to the UK – exhibit at this album release party- garner more interest in her work – increase the value of her work, and therefore – increase the resale value of your investment! WE ALL WIN! For $30 you can get a signed and numbered print - this is about half the cost of what Sarah usually sells them for!!

Club Mumble features Sarah Larnach and the Nouvea Crusier
We stumbled across this nice little write up on Club Mumble about Sarah Larnach and our Nouvea Crusier! Last Hi Summer Element Eden went back to our roots to introduce the Nouvea Crusier. We found it only fitting to celebrate Eden’s skateboarding history with the Nouvea Cruiser, printed with a piece of our Advocates artwork. We believe it is the perfect union, tying Element Eden’s skateboarding roots, with the Advocate program which grounds the brand today.
Eden Advocate, Sarah Larnach and her print ‘ Deco Lady’ was chosen to feature on the Nouvea Cruiser as she has skateboarding in her heart. Skateboarding when she was younger, until an injury slowed her down, it makes us extra proud to have Sarah’s work printed on our first Element Eden skateboard!!
