Putu Rose…
One thing we love about Advocate Brooke Reidt is the inspiration she finds through personal encounters, and how she pours that inspiration into her beautiful work.
The drawing up top was done by a young girl named Putu Rose, who created the piece for Brooke (her new close friend) when they met on Brooke’s travels to Bali…The lovely painting underneath was done in turn by Brooke for Putu! What a beautiful show of appreciation!
Putu is five years old and an aspiring fairy house architect…. we support the little Miss Rose, go after your dreams!
KAKENYA’S DREAM

I am so inspired by this amazing woman! Kakenya Ntaiya grew up in a tradition Maasai family in Kenya where girls are often promised to be married at an early age and expected to stop attending school. Ntaiya rebelled against this destiny and, defying the odds, completed high school and went on to college in the United States, were she was determined to do something to improve the lives of other Maasai girls, Ntaiya founded the Kakenya Center for Excellence.
A school for girls and the first institution of its kind in her region of Kenya. Opened in May 2009, the Center focuses on academic excellence, female empowerment, leadership, and community development.
