Child like in animal nature…

Eden Advocate, Kareena Zerefos is holding an upcoming show at the Retrospect Galleries on the Gold Coast!
Exploring fragility, concealment and the instinctual connection between child and animal, the exhibition features a selection of new work using graphite, ink and markers on paper… even a limited edition series of hand-pulled screen prints!
We are such fans of her ability to create delicacy while quietly stating the bold reasoning behind each piece… so lovely
Please visit the good people at Retrospect Galleries for further details.

Slacklining with Legendary Dean Potter!!
In addition to being an Element Eden Advocate, I am also an ambassador for Flora Health. Flora makes the well known Udo’s Oil 3-6-9 blend that you find in the WholeFoods, in addition to the distribution of many other great nutritional products!
I got the opportunity to meet fellow Flora ambassador and legendary slackliner Dean Potter while helping Flora at the natural products Expo West show this past weekend and he taught me to slackline!!
Slacklining/tightrope walking originated in the mid-evil times and were used for warrior games! But modern days it has become popular amongst rockclimbers who were slacklining from one rock to the next.
I used to think slackliners were crazy but after doing it I understand why they do it! It forces you to be completly in the moment and focus on every movement and breath you take! A few minutes on the line feels like an hour long yoga session. You have to be completly aware of every movement and muscle twitch and you cannot think of anything else but that!
When I step off the slackline I feel so centered, stable and balanced which is important for everyone!
I can officially say that I am addicted and will be buying a slackline for my backyard!
Dean Potter who is most definitely the best slackliner in the world, a true legend! Check him out in the video above!
