Trunkin it in Oregon with Amy Purdy
This past week we’ve been trecking around Oregon, visiting some of our fave shops and local ladies with Element Eden Advocate and inspirational speaker – Amy Purdy!
Amy inspired all by telling her life changing story and where her path has led her to today, from ranking top in World Adaptive snowboarding, to collabing with us on the Live Learn Grow (LLG) Collection.
Both trunk shows at Vanilla Urban Threads in Bend and Urban Laundry in Corvallis were a blast for us and our new friends. We were stoked to be out of the office, hanging, crafting, and styling the upcoming Spring 2013 line with the local girls. Here’s some shots of the crew in action.

DESIGN FOR HUMANITY SHOWCASING BROOKE REIDT
Our beloved Element Advocate and renowned L.A. based artist Brooke Reidt has been hard at work surrounded by triangle canvases and wet paint brushes, prepping her art installation to be showcased at Design for Humanity July 25!!
Just a little sneak peek in on the action with some shots from her Instagram (@BeachGoth)… Can hardly wait to see the final project!!!
Proceeds from art and ticket sales will be benefiting the Cultivate Foundation to improve sustainable farming practices!! Hurry though, only a few tickets left… BUY NOW and we will see you there!!

Intern Diaries: Rural Revolution Jewelry and Bags
Rural Revolutions jewelry has become a favorite here at Element Eden. The company, founded by Eden Advocate Kendra Jones Morris, provides jewelry and bags designed and created by artisans from all around the world!
These awesome pieces are from the Peru collection. Rural Revolution partners talented female artisans across the world with motivated sales ambassadors in the US to help empower these women as well as sustain local economies, and in addition you get to wear these incredible pieces of art.
What an amazing company, and a beautiful and rewarding way to give back!
